109 Thoughts To Share!
One Hundred and Nine unread posts in my google reader. 109!!! What have you all been talking about?! My gosh...even Olga had something to say...I don't know what it is yet, but she had something to say. Guess I've been out of the loop, little overwhelmed with the start of the school year and all that.
Things are calming down, and yes, Emmy likes Kindergarten. Her teacher says, "Emmy liked being the "helper" today. She had a lot to say."
I said, "you mean, she never quits talking?"
Teacher replied, "No, she just has a lot to share with me."
Well, that's a nice way to put it. Emmy decided to share in gym class that her little sister always says, "I'm so hungry," when she wakes up. And she decided to share with the art teacher that she has "2 boyfriends, and her sister makes messes, but she doesn't," and she decided to share with me during music that she would get to "be the helper" the next day. So Emmy likes to "share" info in class a lot, a lot more than what I expected.
At least she hasn't shared anything too embarassing, like the time daddy hit the telephone pole because the cat was throwing up and did over $5000 worth of damage to the jeep. No, I shared that, and over the internet.
I guess we all have a lot to share.
Update on the jeep. It's back, after 2 "false starts" (2 returns back to the garage). One for a faulty mirror and one for a cracked window they missed the first time. It seems good as it was pre-cat barf era.

Is it hard being your daughter's teacher? I would bet it would depend on your daughter. If she "acts up" it might be hard.
I think it's cute! And I love the 'sharing' version instead of telling you your daughter talks too much!
glad the school year and "sharing" are going well.
*I* have something to say???! Honey- you need to get out more.....Hey- I need your email so I can reply to your comments, I don't want you to feel like I blow you off, but if you'd rather not-no worries. I keep replying here instead.( mine is knitfrau AT sio DOT midco DOT net)
anyhoo- Mouth is still hurting like a bugger and whiskey thearpy is starting to sound good.
I got a good laugh out of this one! My sixth-grade son has always "shared" a lot. I have no secrets. Not one. And every year, I have to put up with teachers coming up with new ways to tell me that, "he has a lot to say," "he is very well-informed," "he contributes a great deal to the conversation," "he has many insights," and a hundred other variations on "he never shuts up." Like I don't already know that. Good luck with your...generous...child!
sounds like she's very well adjusted!
What a great age. I remember my girls going to kindergarten. Don't feel bad about being busy. I am overwhelmed with the new school year and work getting busy as well. My weeks always blur by. Sometimes it's okay not to keep up with everything. BTW, love those Hannah Montana shoes she's wearing!
