You have a pretty awesome view! I might have missed this, but do you farm or just live on one? Also, I was just relizing you said you don't use patterns, just draw right on the fabric! wow. I use to have a sewing book that showed you how to make patternless clothes, I might have to see if I actually still own that!

Ha! The big sis stranglehold. I tried telling her to put her hand on her sister's shoulder. I have a number of pics of her arm around her sister's neck.
Frau, we own about 5 acres in a developement where everyone owns at least 2 acres. There are cow farms all around us and a field behind our house that's been for sale for years. The local farmers cut it for hay. The cows are far enough that we don't smell them!
Looks like a great place to call home. I love your porch!
